5 Exercises to Slim your Bigger Butt

Targeted exercises can effectively trim and tone buttocks. While spot reduction isn't conceivable, glute-focused exercises can improve muscle tone and reduce size. Five excellent exercises to slim your bigger butt:

1. Lunges

Lunges work glutes, quads, and hamstrings. Start with your feet hip-width apart, step one foot back, and lower yourself until your knees are 90 degrees. Return to the start and switch legs. Try 3 sets of 12-15 reps per leg.

2. Step-Ups

Step onto a firm platform or bench and press through the heel to elevate yourself. Reverse and repeat with other leg. Perform 3 sets of 12-15 repetitions per leg.

3. Bridge Pose

Lay back with knees bent and feet hip-width apart. Hold your hips high and squeeze your glutes. Lower down and repeat 3 times, 15-20 reps.

4. Squats

Squats work glutes, quads, and hamstrings. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, bend your knees, keep your chest up, and drive your hips back. Return to the start and repeat 12-15 reps 3 times.

5. Donkey Kicks

Start on hands and knees with a flat back. While bending the knee, press one foot towards the ceiling to engage the glutes. Lower back down without touching the floor and repeat 3 sets of 15-20 reps per leg.
