It's important to replace the water in your aquarium since debris and junk can cause sickness or death. Clean at least one-third of your tank's water per week.

Test your water regularly

We recommend testing water for pH, carbonate hardness, nitrite, ammonia, and nitrate. Take care of pH. At weekly water changes, you can utilize a variety of test kits.

Clean the filter regularly

At minimum once a month, you should clean your filter. Granted, you may wish to clean your filter more frequently if your tank contains a high number of fish.

Clean the sides of your tank

In an unhealthy aquarium, algae won't grow, so expect algae buildup. Algae can turn aquarium water greenish-cloudy and reduce oxygen levels, which can harm fish.

Acclimate your fish with the water

It's crucial that your fish enjoy their new home. Float the sealed fish bag in your tank for an hour. After 10 minutes of floating, add aquarium water to the bag.
