Keto Lemon Mug Cake - 5 Minute Sugar Free  Recipe

Feel free to try this simple keto lemon mug cake with a zesty lemon glaze. It's quick and easy to make, and it tastes great.   

For the cake – 4 tablespoon almond flour extra fine, or 5-6 tablespoons ground almond – 2 tablespoon heavy cream – 1 ½ tablespoon powdered sweetener – 1 egg – 2 tablespoon lemon juice – ½ teaspoon baking powder For the glaze – 1 tablespoon unsalted butter – 1 tablespoon heavy cream – squeeze of lemon juice – 1 tablespoon powdered sweetener


Cake  Sticky Grease Melt butter in two ramekins, mugs, or a bowl that can go in the microwave. I used a bowl made of glass.  


Step 1

In a different bowl, mix the almond flour, sugar, and baking powder together.  

Step 2

Add all the wet ingredients and use a fork to mix them well. You can add more almond flour if your dough is too wet.  

Step 3

Put the batter into the bowl or mugs and make sure the top is even. Put the microwave on high for 90 seconds.  

Step 4

On a plate, flip it over once it's cool, or eat it right from the bowl.   

Step 5

Glaze  Melt the butter and then add the cream, lemon juice, and sugar.  Let it cool down until the glaze gets thicker. Pour or spoon over cake.
